A unit upgrade or an additional slot?

Start with the units you can actually equip. If an open slot already exists, a useful collected unit may improve the team without another slot purchase. If every slot is occupied, compare the price of expanding capacity with the best upgrade available on an equipped unit.

For an extra slot, count only the output of the unit you would put there. For a level upgrade, count only the output it adds. Comparing an entire unit's income with an upgrade's additional income keeps the decision consistent.

A summoner upgrade changes your roll opportunities; an income upgrade strengthens your current cash flow. The official description confirms better rolls from summoner levels, but it does not establish a guaranteed target unit or a single best spending threshold.

Damage and income answer different questions

Cash-per-second measures how quickly a unit supports purchases. Damage helps with defeating the current boss. The most useful choice can change between a farming session and a difficult fight, even when your collection has not changed.

Record the before and after values under the same conditions. A mutation, temporary boost or different level can explain a large gap. Do not borrow a number from a video and treat it as the unmodified base value of every copy.

Check the full cost of a fusion

The observed Fusion interface shows matching input units and a result preview. Before confirming, identify every copy involved and check whether one of them is currently providing income or damage you rely on.

Compare the resulting team, not just the resulting unit. Losing several useful copies can have a different effect from fusing spare inventory. This review does not establish that every rarity and mutation follows the same recipe, so the current preview remains essential.

A simple cash-flow comparison

Consider an illustrative choice: upgrade A costs $1,200 and adds $20/s; upgrade B costs $3,000 and adds $30/s. At constant rates, A pays back in 60 seconds and B in 100 seconds. A recovers its cost sooner, while B adds more income once paid for.
